Kendra, or any other Delphi graduate, could you give some information on what kind of experiments you did in the lab? lol.... lol again for good measure. The "experiments" on the check sheets were pretty standard science practical stuff. Dissecting frogs or rats, growing bacterial cultures, combining relatively benign chemicals and observing the reaction, building series and parallel circuits with batteries, switches and light bulbs. When the science fair rolled around is when things started to get out of hand. Some students made gun-cotton, black powder, napalm, miniature siege weapons and small hot-air balloons just from memory. The smell probably was a combination of the rabbit cage, turtle tank (neither of which were particularly clean) and the uncontrolled environment that the yogurt and other cultures were made in... the place pretty well cleared out when somebody actually dissected something and I don't think it was cleaned up particularly well after the fact. HAH, wh...

The only lab sup I remember was Caesar... but do keep in mind that I was kicked out not long after my shenanigans and that I am... an unspecified number of years older than you.

Good times though, I have more stories for when I can reveal more details.

Sex and sexuality is another issue that is muddied up in the Scientology world and like most things, the more you try to quash it, legislate it, tie guilty feelings to it or manipulate it, the more it spins out of control.

Looking over everything that Hubbard wrote about sex gave me some serious WTF moments.

I think that noticing that something is wrong comes gradually and in several stages. It could be an isolated incident that nobody does anything about, gradually noticing the singularity of thought or any number of things over the years that can't be explained away... but yeah, that looks like the general sequence. There are some additional steps for leaving the SO, and exSO don't always become exSCN... but the processes are very similar.

I recognize her from the PAC RPF... trying to remember her married name from that time as I believe that when she did leave the SO, she left with her husband. I could be completely wrong in this as I had my own problems at the time, but I'll look though some of my old journals and papers to see if there something that jars my memory.

Edit: Found an old Journal that reminded me of a few things and her former married name was Stephanie Pope... obviously no relation to the Broadway Actress of the same name. Then I noticed that she was recently married...

At least we have Headley---> Pope---> Headley----> ?

I know a couple people that live(ed) in Toronto. Its a long shot, but if I get back in touch with them, I might be able to dig something up.

The courage that you ex-scientologists have shown is beyond words. We are proud and deeply honored to stand beside you in this fight. This is why. Well, its come full circle. I didn't even start thinking about speaking up until the church drew the ire of Anonymous. I mean, I am sitting on a story to tell that won't come out until I get a few affairs in order but it would have NEVER come out if Anonymous hadn't picked up the cause. Their motives for anything they seem to do are kindred to my own... epic lulz or in this case, something worth fighting for. What you guys are doing is important and it is making a difference, at least to me. Maybe, you'll see me out there at some protest, eye-patch and all. Maybe I'll figure out a way to get a message to at least a few RPFers and hopefully they can gather the courage to free themselves. We can certainly staunch the flow of new people going into SCN, that would be a clear message on its own. At any rate, your very honored, we're very honored...

I think Brittany deserves SCN and vise versa. In fact, I think it would do the church some good to drop a massive slut and gigolo bomb dropped on all the churches at various levels. A lot of those fuckers just need to get laid.

I think I can answer your questions with other questions. Would you be wary of a 15 y-o white kid with a shaved head reading Mein Kampf? Much the same thing, if a kid is kinda on the outs, not spouting a SCN line every few days and he/she's reading Psychology Today... or even a real psych text, people are going to be "concerned." Oddly enough, Fahrenheit 451, 1984 and the like are recommended reading... since "that is what we are trying to prevent." Also keep in mind that because there is such a focus on what words mean, what is being said, the exact wording, cause and effect, A-->B-->C etc. many SCN are nearly incapable of abstract thought. One exercise in Study Tech training is to "work out for yourself how it could be that way" which unfortunately is relied upon to reason away the most batshit of ideas. At any rate, I know a few too many SCN that take many things far to literally, they dwell upon exact wording and fail to see any sort of nuance or sub-t...
