Strength. I've just been having one of my deep and meaningful moments and I just saw for a moment how a few of the pieces fit together. Ever one of us ex-SCN, kids or not, are still living in the shadow of the church. Our families and relationships are damaged or we live in fear of them being damaged, some of us (like myself) won't speak openly for fear of becoming an OSA target or otherwise complicating a domestic situation. So we say what we can, we do what we can and every attack against us via e-mail or counter protest is just more salt in the wound. Anonymous does not have this problem. They are targeted and attacked for other things and they don't care. They choose to do what they do freely and without coercion or as an escape from coercion. Their actions are a true expression of free will and as such, their actions are also outright fucking hysterical. Well, what I was hearing, was first, that people resent being reminded that "I told you so," however gently it may be worded. My response, is no kidding. What's the point in telling someone that unless it's to make them wrong and you right? No matter how gently it's done, it is an attempt at dominance, a way of showing superiority, whether it be intellectual superiority or whatever. No one likes that. Even if they don't see it consciously, they get it, on a gut-level , that they're being reminded that you told them so. They are having their noses rubbed in something, and they do not appreciate you for it. I have never been in Scientology, so for all I know, it might be considered a kindness within Scientology to rub someone's nose in their failings.
