This situation seems a bit sticky, but I will say this: Scientologists tend to offer unconditional love and support so long as you remain a "good" Scientologist. It is a VERY alluring thing. It is something that family and friends don't always give you and there is a simplicity in its standard, whereas different people will take offense to many different things... and there is no standardization in their response. So, if I am reading the situation properly, I think that the best bet would to be to offer that unconditional love and support so long as she remains a good person. Support her through her successes and failures in SCN and if things get to tough or she starts to see things that she doesn't agree with on a fundamental level, well you will have demonstrated that you are worthy of her trust and confidence. It will probably be a long hard road, but it won't be all bad. I personally got a lot out of my time in SCN and am only recently sorting out what was and wasn't true...

RickRollin is just fucking funny. Its a social commentary on the evolution of pop culture and style with a song that is pretty hokey but with the sad truth that the guy had a good set of lungs.

This is not the full account of my life or my experiences. Names and dates have been left out to preserve my anonymity for the time being. However, the events described are true even if particulars and details cannot be mentioned at this time. It is a longer story only to give context and background to my later experiences. My early childhood was pretty normal and pretty devoid of Scientology's influence. My parents were not actively getting auditing or taking courses. Minor processes like Touch Assists, Nerve Assists and Contact Assists were used. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. My grandmother would take me to Church occasionally (you know, the place with pews and bibles) and my mom would tell me about some Native American and Eastern beliefs. The funny thing is that at least a few of us know each other. For example, Bea and I were on the RPF at the same time. Pre-SO, I am pretty sure that my social circle rubbed elbows with Kendra's and other such things. So it would be nice to get enough together for a book that shows how all these stories interrelate. The fact of the matter is that we are only just now (from my perspective) starting to come together in online circles, it would be interesting to see how we all interconnect. I think that because we grew up in SCN, that we are the real Scientology story. Not to discount the experiences of Tory, Chuck Beatty or any number of others that have moved away from SCN but its because we grew up with each other and shared A LOT of the same experiences from different angles or perspectives. Mini Co$ history lesson, LA Riots 1992 (the Rodney King Uprising), SO Base security was through the roof. There was a nearly unbroken ring of people surrounding SO buildings pretty much all the time. Some were armed, some were not. There were riflemen on rooftops. There were no incidences of violence or shootings that I know of. The Co$ responds to threats, sometimes drastically, but they do respond. From what I know from being on the inside, all the information presented here is plausible. I don't doubt the probability of somebody in the church going rogue and acting beyond the guidelines of their BP. Sometimes you have to put on the tinfoil hat in order to exercise caution.
