Okay. Because of spam, and a really horrendous listing by someone testing it out, we have decided to activate the Word Censor part of the software.

With some of it, we are just having fun. (I mean really .. see the list )

Some words are just offensive all around and although we aren't really trying to censor folks, there are kids.

What it means is that the words listed below will be changed NOT in the actual saved text but in what is viewed. It's like a filter.

Unfortunately we can't do phrases, just words (although the replacement can be a phrase). So if you have any suggestions, add them here and I or Kendra will add them if we feel it is appropriate.

Kendra MAY change some of these, and her words trumps all, but for now, this is what we have.

I just found this topic by searching on the word "filter." I saw a couple of different posts where the words "feces" and "fornicating" were used (by different posters) and I thought, WTF??, then realized there must be some sort of filter. I'm sorry you all have had such bad spam problems, but I gotta say it's really disconcerting if you don't know there's a filter, or why there's one.
