My suggestion is to give him all of the links and info etc, but not to push him to do anything. Be supportive of his choices.

because if you get too negative, he may end up forced to disconnect.

My suggestion is to ask "how are you doing with Scn?" From the answer he gives you, take it from there. He may just say "That anonymous group..." or "well, it's costing me a lot of money..." or some such thing, at which point the door is open for you.

If you start showing him videos or give him links, he may just get pissed off at you and stop talking to you.
