There are a set of "ethics conditions" in the Scientology Ethics book.
They are supposed to be a list of actions or ideas you do or take to get yourself out of a "bad condition".

So Doubt is one of those conditions.
When you have done your doubt condition you then do a liability condition then more till you are back to "normal".

Scientologists apply these conditions on a weekly basis based on stats and actions of the week. Because we all know you have absolute and total control of your stat at all times.
If you are found to have created a potential security breach, you are to do the Treason condition.
In the Sea Org the conditions are another way of controling the staff.
If one is in lower conditions, you get no time off (you don't really get much if any time off anyways) and are penalized from any other "rewards" (which don't really exist anyways).
"Everybody has a right to believe what they want to believe. But I don't believe that anybody has a right to trick anybody, to hurt anybody, to harm some body, for their own purposes." - Jason Beghe
