CoS planning to buy building in Birmingham

CoS plans on buying a grade II listed building in Birmingham, Pitmaston Manor House, to serve as an "ideal org", but has not quite raised the funds yet.
On a personal note, I remember that in the run up to buying their building on Queen Victoria Street, some sea org members visited our house to show my father a video of the building, taken on a camcorder, with the intent of soliciting a donation. It was the original London Org, as chosen by Hubbard, before the one setup Tottenham Court Road. They lost the building when someone had allowed the lease to expire or otherwise decided to move, though the person responsible was later declared an SP (see it wasn't a CoS mistake, it was an SP in the ranks).
Anyway they did make a point of mentioning how this information, about which building they where planning to buy, was considered fairly confidential, and where worried that if somebody found out (such as an SP), then it could potentially cause problems for the sale. I think, but not 100% sure, that they where buying the building through a shell company and the owners at the time didn't realise they where selling to the CoS.
I am guessing that the CoS are considering that this news-report is a flap, and would have preferred to secure its ownership fully before letting anybody know their plans.

Freedom is a choice. Choose to be yourself, choose to speak your truth and do so with compassion. And above all else, choose to be not afraid. If I can't dance, its not my revolution.
