How on earth is this a $300K party?

DM seems to have lost his shirt, all his has is his Hanes. From what I've learned, everyone working the event will be a Scientologist. I've also heard that Scientologists are NOT paid well. They may have even been told to donate their time. (Band, non-singing singers and "dancers" too?) It's probably a sure bet that the party was on CoS property, and that they already owned the electronics, even the tables and chairs. Who were all the people attending? People who were threatened with something unless they attended, or were they high ranking (read: high donating) scienos?

Was it all spent on dinner? Gas? Or was it just funneled out in false payments to a Bulgravian account?

As close as he is to DM, I would think he has to know something. Afterall, he doesn't see this stuff being done for every celebrity or Scientologist. He must feel "special" or even "entitled".
