Let's take a quick look at the furor surrounding Will Smith and his "I'm so close to Scientology I can smell it breathing down my neck" relationship to Tom Cruise. Yeah ... they're apparently buddies but Will wants everyone to know that he's NOT a Scientologist (and not interested either). And if you're on top of THAT situation, you know there's a lot more to the story than he's telling!

Mr. Smith says he’s a student of ALL religions and certainly is something of an expert on the subject. But wait, he also says he’s a CHRISTIAN!?? What the #@%*#!! Raised in a Baptist household, this is the same guy who said recently about his wacky friend’s religion … “I’ve talked to Tom about it. (There’s) lots of incredible, wonderful concepts (but, my wife) Jada and I don’t necessarily believe in organized religion.” (well ... Scientology scores one out of two on that statement).

O.K. -- fine! I think we're beginning to understand where you are coming from -- it's a simple mathmatical concept according to what you said recently: “…ninety-eight percent of the principles [in Scientology] are identical to the principles of the Bible.” O.K. — WE GET IT! SCIENTOLOGY = CHRISTIANITY (within 2% commercial tolerance).

I think Will's a nice guy ... too bad he's walking into the "blast area" of Tom Cruise's self perpetuated intellectual meltdown.
