Rick Astley talks about Rickrolling

Yes, the silence has broken; Rick Astley has spoken out about the Rickroll. Not only that, but he loves it being used as a part of the protests against Scientology.

Seriously, if this man actually preforms at the London event, the word EPIC will have a new defintion.
The most important thing to learn about Life, the Universe, and Everything, is firstly; the answer is 42, and secondly; how utterly ridiculous it truly is

I thought for sure your link was itself going to be a rickroll. That would have been epic in its own right.

We seem to be rapidly approaching the point, if we haven't passed it already, when nobody will dare click on any link for fear of being Rickrolled. :-)

Rickrolling is obviously spreading across the planet!!!!

Scientology wanted to "clear" the planet.

Looks like Anonymous is going to "Rickroll" the planet first!!! :notworthy:
If it's not fun and doesn't make you happy, DON'T DO IT !!!

Sometimes it can take the "mainstream media" a long time to catch up with the internet. Today, April 22, Fox News TV ran a feature about the Rickroll. The NY Mets baseball team had run an online poll for voters to choose a new team anthem. Fark.com got their users to stuff the ballot box and, voila, the Rickroll won the vote. Mets officials fell for it and played the Rickroll as the new team anthem on Opening Day. Fans booed.

The Rickroll refuses to die. I just heard an interesting report on ESPN radio. Yesterday there was a nationally-televised National Basketball Association game between the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers, two of the best teams in the league. Late in the game, during a timeout, the dulcet tones of Rick Astley flooded the arena. Feeling good and with a big lead, three of the Cleveland players showed off their dance moves to the crowd.
