The Prescott Group

Scientology uses many insidious methods for "converting" unsuspecting people to their "religion". There are several business management organizations that are based on Scientology priniciples one of which is "The Precott Group". For a mere $20,000/yr they will train you and your staff in their "buiness school for chiropractors". As a former member let me warn you to save your $ and invest it in any of the many other chiropractic management groups out there.
The major problem I had with Prescott is they start your training with a personality test that has been proven to be bogus and does not represent your personality, it's designed to focus on your weakness's which they in turn use as rationale for further need for Scientology training. Do not believe the results of this test as it is neither truthful nor scientific as does not represent your personality. Essentially preying on people whose business is failing and looking for a lifeline out of bankruptcy you are easy prey for their manipulation of the truth. I found the actual training to be indoctrination into a very cult-like group. You are treated like children who need to be shown the way to do things like read correctly (and you thought you could already read).
When it comes to your training it is done by Scientologists and not other chiropractors who are telling you essentially how to manage your pts. cases without any knowledge of their conditions nor any professional knowledge of their own. Can you imagine for a minute an M.D. being trained by a non-medical professional on how to manage his cancer patients?
The actual marketing methods they espouse are not only deceitful but outright fraudulent as well as being extremely non-professional. We didn't spend 8 years in college so we could act like carnival barkers ( at least I didn't). The Prescott Group does have many success stories which they love to shove down your throat on a regular basis b/c as a student of Prescott you can't graduate in your training from one module to the next without giving Prescott your "win" statement which are carefully monitored for content and if you say something they don't like you're failed in that module and told to do it again until they get the response they want to hear.
The heart of the program is the 3 day report of findings which is EXACTLY the same for every patient you treat. Again can you imagine an M.D. telling every one of his patients the EXACT same thing for every case he sees? You use rote scripting which is by their own admission desinged to scare the patient into buying your service (the same treatment plans for all patients regardless of condition all of which is paid for by cash up front).
If you need to use fear to sell anything your product/service obviously can't stand on it's own merit. Is that the way you want to be treated by your health-care professional? Is it acceptable to put patients in treatment plans that are designed for your enrichement and not their improvement? When you are being sold the Prescott plan they are very big on testimonials by satisfied D.C.'s the only problem with this is that you never hear about the disgruntled clients.
I should of been suspicious when Prescott couldn't give me a single name of a chiropractor who used the training and practised in my local area and was happy with the result.
