I went to public school until I was 9. After that it was the cadet org school or Ability Plus (a scientology private school) until I was 14. Then in the sea org we sometimes went to school on Saturdays and sometimes didn't. None of these 'schools' had any curriculam and no one graduated. At Ability Plus, the teacher spent days reading us Battlefield Earth! In the sea org we did not get enough hours of schooling to meet the minimum legal requirement but no one seemed to care.
When I left the sea org when I was 19, I took the GED. I've since taken plenty of community college classes. It is frustrating to me that I missed out on all those years of schooling. However, there are so many opportunities out there. Anyone can take community college courses and then they can transfer to a University if so inclined. I am all about looking forward and I hope that anyone who got out of scientology and had missed out on a proper education like I did doesn't let that hold them back.
