What is the deal with Scieno attitudes on AIDS!?!?

I have seen a recurring theme over the years on message boards of Scientologists saying that someone shouldn't be listened to because "they probably has AIDS" or asking "You don't look good? Do you have AIDS?"

e.g. Dennis Erlich's story about Jesse Prince asking if Dennis had AIDS waaay back in the day, not to mention Jenna Elfman's comments that "'AIDS is a state of mind, not a disease" as mentioned in The Daily Radar website in 1999.

So my question is.... is this just a Scientology bull-baiting question used as part of PTS/SP Confront & Shatter suppression or is there an underlying opinion or teaching in Co$ that people who have AIDS are criminals or deviants or somehow otheriwse 'deserve it'???

The basic Scn ideas on illness in general is that they are psychosomatic in origin. They can come from someone "suppressing" the sufferer but only because the individual has been unethical in someway and are trying to lessen themselves in order to restrain themselves from continuing to harm others.

It's not much of a jump from there to "people with AIDS have it only because they are out-ethics and degraded" or some such.

I haven't seen a lot of that attitude about AIDS in particular though I saw someone with a life threatening heart issue be decried as "ser faccing" - making up the illness to assert their rightness and other wrongness. Sick and sad...
