Ex Scientology Kids

I liked Wizards First Rule, but was really disappointed with the rest of the series. I didn't like how dark it got. It was well written and all, but I don't need all the S&M and children dying gruesomely. I'm pretty sensitive about my books having happy endings and I've had quite enough of confronting evil.

I didn't mind how dark it was personally... but the constant pressure was a bit much... At some point you would expect the main characters to get their shit together and keep things under control. I find it unrealistic that they were successful while operation almost completely from a defensive standpoint.

Oh and the whole thing could have been over in Andraith... somebody should have figured out that nobody was stirrin the kool-aid and just taken that shit over, then lured the Imperial forces in and nuked the bejebus out of them.

Yeah, SB, I have no tolerance for repeated stupidity either.
