When I disconnected from my declared grandmother, it was she who wrote the disconnection letter:
"I think it's so wonderful that my grandson is going to be getting auditing! So... I am willing to disconnect from him if that's what it takes."
When I disconnected from my mother, I wrote my own disconnection letter to my her. But... I'm pretty sure I went over it with the MAA before I mailed it to her.
