Do they tell you why they keep your PC folders?

[mod edit: this post was split and moved from the Activism forum]

Thanks a lot for the ideas. Something I was wondering about - what was the justification they gave you for why they need to keep the PC folders? And do they promise to keep it confidential in the beginning?

Well, they basically say that they have to keep your folders so the C/S (person who reviews folders and auditors) can keep an eye on your case, following along as it progresses.

They tell you that NO ONE will EVER see the inside of your PC folder except the auditor and the C/S. You're not even allowed to see it, unless you're solo-auditing... and maybe not even then.

I have been wondering what they have done with all the back PC folders. Many of them are over 30 years old and over time the paper and writing would deteriorate.

Does anyone know?

You are not allowed to view your pc folders even on Solo. There are a special set of folders that you get that you run Solo processes on. When your Solo sessions are submitted to the C/S (case supervisor), the D of P (Director of Processing) submits your Solo and regular folder.

There are enourmous storages used for old PC folders. They don't get rid of anything. Generally speaking, folders are kept in cool dry places and so are not as subject to rot, mildew, deterioration. It's not like a file cabinet where air can reach each page. There are PILES and PILES and PILES of folders. And so oxidation doesn't hit most of it.

Semi- on the topic, but might anyone shed some light on what the Alkaid they're doing with the files in this and several other YouTube vids? This was filmed shortly after the Feb 10th raids.
