About the education...
How exactly does the Church reconcile the ridiculous situations that are present in its OT III or further content inside its educational institutions? Aside from the whole thetan story, the space opera component of the belief system flies in the face of virtually every scientific ideal taught today.
I can only assume that people who do well in the Scientology education system are roughly equal to their equivilent in the real world. Unlike a belief in God which is a very existential (one might argue superfluous) belief, the belief in thermonuclear weapons detonating volcanoes, soul vacuums and a fleet of aircraft modified for interstellar space travel is quite something else.
I'm curious how they go about dealing with this potential future conflict. Do they start the process at an early age?
