Cult's Closed (London 12.07.08)

Right, it's probarbly about time to start talking about what will happen in London on the 12th, since it will deviate quite a bit from what the rest of the world is doing.

Cult's Closed is an Anon beach party to be staged outside the CoS buildings at Queen Victoria Street and Tottenham Court Road. We have invited two special guests; Tory Magoo and the man of the wise beard Mark Bunker.

An explenation of the theme might be in order, since it is steeped in Anon lore. On the 12th of July in 2006 the internet descended upon an avatar based chat site known as Habbo Hotel, this was known as the first great Habbo Raid. This was a resounding success, and the pool was closed for a long time, resulting in many avatars saved from the horrible curse of AIDS floating in the pool. The success had to be repeated, and was done so on July 12th 2007.

Epicness grew to a new level with the second raid, and if we are to be able to even come close to repeating such a success, it has to be taken to the streets of the real world. And so it shall, Cult's Closed, July 12th 2008.

Everyone is invited to join in on our party. Dress code is optional, but something to cover your face (might I suggest a V-mask; ) is highly recommended, since the cult will not be happy about the closure.

Get something to cover your face, and anything else easily recognizable, with. Bring a happy face, talk to some Anons, get a few fliers off someone, and you're on a roll. (Oh, and you might also want to bring an open mind capable of taking the fact that you won't understand the jokes at first.)

Tory and Mark Bunker have landed, and have been picked up. They are doing well, and should right now be at dinner with certain select Anons from the IRC channel. (Basically the people who said MEEEE!!! the loudest.) They will be there tomorrow, and then head out for East Grinstead on Sunday (hopefully there will be another tour around St. Hill). Pictures will be posted by me and many others from both events.

First was the protest yesterday. It went as well as could be imagined, we we're visited by;

and
Pedobear

Met Tory first, got a hug and a marrige proposal (after she found out I live in Norway). WBM was late, and only made it to Tottenham Court Road. Anon was in full attendance the whole time. Chikanz were donated for and £400 ($800) were raised for the fund and all spent on chicken. Chants, speeches by Tory and Mark, lots of fliers handed out. All in all, the things that Londo Anon simply do.

Today was East Grinstead and St. Hill time. Tory and Mark had never been there, and so it was off with an Anon escort of about 20-30 to see this slave labour built elusive scilon HQ. And what do you know, in the middle of scilon valley UK, they act looney as all hell. Got kicked off when we got to St. Hill and had scilons running around in the bushes trying to secretely take our pictures.
Then there was the inexplicable and utterly halarious trap that was set for us. An open container full of delicous dox just right over wall, with a scilon looking at it waiting for an anon to walk in and be shut in and be captured.
Next up was down at the train station. First thing that happens is that I get "facefagged" (basically, the scilons now have a picture of my face), for being in the same car as Tory and Mark when we got back to the station. Scilon on motorbike getting pictures up until the point when Mark started filming, and Tory asked him why he was running away and hiding, to which he answers; "At least I'm not wearing a fucking mask!" and speeds off, nearly running over Mark.
But now the true lulz begin. While this has been going on, a man in a white shirt and red tie has moved into a phonebox at the end of the station. This is not really all that interesting. It does however get interesting when he's been in there for half an hour and hasn't really seemed to be talking all that much. We now get very interested, and the man in the phone box has actually started talking in the phone. Mark walks over to the phone box wall to wall with the one holding the guy in the tie. Upon entering he hears these words; "Ok, I won't do that then. I'll go hide in the weeds instead."
