I was wondering if scientology has any special beliefs or "recommendations" regardins SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome)?

They "pulled it in" for overts (crimes) in a past life. Or maybe baby was PTS to his stuffed bunny rabbit. Its OK though, because the baby will just find another scientology family to be reborn into. _________________ Matthew 24:24 "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect." |

The above seems to apply to any and all medical condition. (Not an ex, don't know for sure, but I'd be near willing to put money on it from what I've read) _________________ The most important thing to learn about Life, the Universe, and Everything, is firstly; the answer is 42, and secondly; how utterly ridiculous it truly is |

Yeah... what he said.
Pulled it in means it's their fault, they caused it...
For any thing that hurt you or your family... was your or their own fault because you attracted it or pulled it in... for basically the equivalent of Scientology sinning overts / witholds... (creepy, eh???? )
And yeah, no big deal... death? Well, they just think you got a billion other lifetimes, this is but a grain of sand on the beach of life. |

The first time I'd heard of SIDS was after I left Scientology when I was pregnant with my daughter. Maybe because this syndrome has only recently been recognized.
However, when anything bad happens to someone like an illness or death, Scientology says they were PTS or an SP. So yes, the baby would have either been considered PTS to his parents or done something in a prior life to "pull it in". Pretty sick point of view. |

| I agree. No child is born evil. Nor should there be a philosophy that says one is. |
