The deal with L Ron and the Magic Space Boots????

A friend sent me the link to this L Ron lecture recording about how he was floating up in the Van Allen Radiation belt which was "hot from all the photons and so-forth" and then he spent several minutes rambling about magic space boots.

Does anybody know where the heck this lecture came from and what the fark he was talking about? As a complete non Scieno I don't know if this is some secret core-teaching or if this is just a bit of L Ron random nuttiness that is tangential to basic Co$ teachings. Can anybody explain it?



I promise that this isn't a rick-roll. And of course the cheapo mystical pseudo-Vangelis music in the background is hilarious as well.

I know that nobody really knows what he was talking about most of the time but this recording is sooooo bat-shiat insane that I can't imagine how anybody could listen to it with a straight face.

I've heard that L Ron would sometimes fill up hours of tapes with this gibberish and slap a label on it calling it "Study Tech Course 9" or something like that.

If someone could possibly give a summary of what he's trying to say with as little jargon as possible the non-scienos out here would love to hear the explanation.

Long story short, he's just mixing metaphors... you know the saying "walk a mile in his boots" yada yada yada... well in this case the boots are "responsibility." In SCN if you take full responsibility for something on a basic level... more than just being accountable for things if they go wrong... then you have complete control over it. Being responsible for yourself, your state of mind, your destiny etc. means you are self determined, being responsible for everyone and everything else in the same manner you would be self determined, means that you are "pan determined" and therefore OT.

He is essentially alluding to the idea that one can "be OT" (at cause over life, the universe and everything) before achieving the case state of OT and that is why he was able to do all that research and take all that responsibility for everything and that he was essentially "out of the trap" and that the only difference between him and anyone else that wasn't "out of the trap" was the amount of "responsibility" they had taken on.

Hope that helps... even though you may ask what the fuck I am babbling about.
