It sounds like it would have been very entertaining to be around you. I'm sorry for the negative feelings you still have today. I think that being on this site, reading other people's stories, and posting with others who have been through similar things has helped me a lot. I hope it helps you, too.

Really I am mostly thankful that my family seems to have enough horse sense not to get in too deep. They won't really question the dogma, but they will at least do things like tell off people that call the house 8 times in a row. As for the money issue, it is not as bad as it could have been since my Scn parent is a Class V auditor and did all their training/auditing with a twin.


Right now I am worried because my 18 yr old stepsibling has disappeared in the Midwest to "get some auditing" in exchange for manual labor. Took a plane up there a month or two ago and that was the last we knew. I mean, we get a phone call occasionally but that's it. I think the auditor is FreeZone though, which is good--but its still sketchy. They aren't even coming home for xmas.

Hopefully your step-sibling will contact your family soon. I don't know that much about the FZ, but I wouldn't expect that you have too much to worry about, though I understand your wanting to see them at Christmas. Welcome to ESK, speckledtrout!

It just reminded me of something. Over my 4 years in the SO, out of all the things I ever got in trouble for, not once did this come up...no matter how many times I did it:

Every time someone got hurt and I was around....while they were doing their silence-lets-make-it-all-better routine, I would repeat one statement, usually along the lines of "Wirestripper is Gawd" or "Wirestripper is perfect"

huh. you'd think that would have rang some alarm bells but nooooo, I smoked underage....thats worse to RTC apparently.
